Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coatings are advanced wear-resistant thin films designed for components operating under high loads, extreme friction and severe wear. Their exceptional hardness and low coefficient of friction reduce pitting, galling, seizure and premature failure, significantly extending component life.

类金刚石(DLC)涂层是面向高载荷、极端摩擦与严苛磨损工况设计的先进耐磨薄膜。凭借卓越的硬度与低摩擦系数,可减少点蚀、咬合、卡死与过早失效,显著延长部件寿命。

DLC is a family of carbon-based coatings — not a single coating type. Its properties can be tailored by adjusting hydrogen content, doping elements, coating structure and deposition process to meet specific application requirements.

Hydrogen-free films with a 3D network of sp³ and sp² bonded carbon, deposited by PVD methods such as vacuum cathodic arc and pulsed laser deposition.

ta-C (Tetrahedral Amorphous Carbon)

a-C:H Films

Hydrogen-containing DLC deposited by CVD with acetylene — generally softer than ta-C, tailored for less demanding conditions.
